Yeah! We’re going to Nordic Game. Again.
I’ve been going to Nordic for the past 4 years, and I hope to keep it going for 40 more. For me it’s the best industry conference/tradeshow in Europe, and probably the world. A place to meet old friends, and make some new ones too.
This year, however, things are slightly different. Collide has a booth at Nordic Game, and for the first time I’ll be playing like the big boys and girls. My friend Sam Read from Testology commented today “Oooh very posh!” when I told him we’d be having a booth this year.
Guess we’re growing, making some huge bets (well, for us at least it’s a huge investment). I’m pretty confident it will pay off. We have a couch. A red one. Can’t go wrong with red, right?
“And what will you be showing?” you say. Well, for starters we’ll be letting the world and their mothers know about how awesome our outsourcing and nearshoring services are, how we’ve been specialising in Multiplayer and AI development. And when people get bored, we’ll show them our uber-secret “Project Chatrooms” demo – our very own VR Multiplayer/Multiplatform framework. And if people still get bored well show them two games we’re currently co-producing and trying to match with the right publisher.
Wanna know more? I’ll keep you posted.
